Dr Amy-Jill Levine is Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies at Hartford International University. She is also Affiliated Professor, Centre for the Study of Jewish-Christian Relations, Cambridge UK. She has held office in the Society of Biblical Literature, and the Association for Jewish Studies.

Dr Levine is a member of the Orthodox Jewish synagogue, Sherith Israel.
