2 Peter – A Almost Certian Forgery

The Bible contains books written by ‘”eyewitnesses” to the life and teaching of Jesus. One such book is the famous Second Letter of St Peter.

However, virtually all New Testament scholars today think it is highly unlikely (or even ‘impossible’) that Peter, the disciple of Jesus, actually wrote the letter attributed to him, and it is almost certainly a forgery.
