Dr Edmund “Ed” J. Copeland is a theoretical physicist, cosmologist, and Professor of physics at the University of Nottingham. Copeland won the 2013 Rayleigh Medal and Prize awarded by the Institute of Physics for his work on particle/string cosmology.

Dr Rebecca Smethurst, also known as Dr. Becky, is a British astrophysicist and author. She holds a MSi from Durham, and a PhD in Astrophysics from Oxford. She is currently the Royal Astronomical Society Research Fellow at the University of Oxford.
