I used to read pamphlets (and believed them) that it was self-evidently silly to think that fish evolved lungs and legs and moved on land.

But in my mid-20s my marine biology lecturer at the Institute of Aquaculture, University of Stirling introduced me to Lungfish and Mudskippers.

I realised -to my shock- that it wasn’t inherently laughable, and I needed to re-examine my confirmation bias.
