“I don’t know any ministers who would get their news from a supermarket tabloid, yet I follow many that routinely share articles from online resources that are no more reliable than those tabloids.
They don’t realize how unreliable their sources are, likely because they have not taken the time to research the accuracy of what they share or post and/or lack discernment to recognize when they are being manipulated.
Pastors, seminarians, youth group leaders, if you can’t be faithful and accurate in your social media posts and comments can I trust that you are faithful in the the big things such as preaching the Bible?
For many of those that I follow on social media I have real doubts and that is especially troubling to me. This video is an open call to pastors, theologians, and other Christian apologists to consider the manner of their witness on social media. “
